Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, excluding the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

Cricket bat repairs and damage

Damage to Bats

Of course, it is possible that, despite all precautions, a cricket bat could still break with the first ball that it receives in a match. However, if you carry out all of the instructions in our bat care section, you will greatly reduce the chances of any damage being caused to the bat. The bat is made of wood and is a natural product and therefore there is no guarantee that the bat will not break. Superficial surface cracks can occur, but these should not detract from the performance of the bat.

Bat Repairs/Replacements

All cricket bats produced by Mars Cricket are of the highest quality and a great deal of care is taken to make sure that only the best products are sold to our customers. Nonetheless, we accept that sometimes bats can be damaged soon after they are purchased. In circumstances where damage is caused to your bat or if you are unhappy with the performance of the bat, we recommend that you inform us of the problem immediately . Your bat will then be inspected and we will advise you of the action to be taken on a case by case basis.

We offer a 6 month warranty with all of our bats. This warranty covers all repairs required that are caused as a result of reasonable use of the Mars Cricket bat. We do not give warranty for bat damaged on the toe as this is the weakest area of the bat and repeated impact will cause inevitable damage. Reasonable use involves, and is limited to, the using of the Mars Cricket bat to hit balls specifically designed for use in the sport of cricket. If the Mars Cricket bat is deemed un-repairable within this 6 month period then a free replacement will be offered. Mars Cricket reserve the right to renege on this warranty if they believe that the bat has been used in ways not deemed reasonable. No cash refunds will be offered and the postage costs relating to the returning of bats will be borne by the customer.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.


Once an order has been ‘checked and agreed’ in writing (letter/email) by the customer, it is ‘CONFIRMED’. Once an order is CONFIRMED, the customer is obliged to accept delivery, pay the agreed price and adhere to the payment terms of the order.

Whilst the products supplied bear the Mars Cricket brand logo the customer cannot purport to represent or make any commitment on behalf of Mars Cricket.

Whilst every effort will be made to deliver orders to the 4 to 6 week target, this is a target and due to seasonal trends this can be extended at anytime even after an order has been confirmed. The target is not guaranteed and not contractual.

Mars Cricket reserves the right to split the supply of the ordered goods into more than one delivery.

Mars Cricket team wear garments are made to order based on customer order confirmation of all order details, refunds/returns for bespoke/personalized team wear orders with a confirmed customer order will not be accepted. The goods shall be required only to conform to the specification in the buyer’s purchase order. Photographs or sketches are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly match the product itself. Mars Cricket Logo’s will be places on the right chest and the back neck of all clothing items.

Sizing: It is your responsibility to order the correct size, once items have been personalized with your logo refunds/returns will not be accepted. Please refer to our size chart if in doubt or please email or call a member of the Mars Cricket team for sizing guidance.
